With the onset of autumn, the Klaipėda branch of “Iremas” successfully continues the installation work of the underwater wall of the pier. The Klaipėda branch was entrusted with the production of pipe structures that will be used during the reconstruction of the pier.

At the moment, the installation of underwater wall pipes is also underway at the northern pier. Pipe installation works and grommet work will be carried out with the help of new technologies to not cause much noise. Also, 116 thousand tons of stones were brought from Scandinavia for pier reconstruction works. Tons of stones that are piled up on the territory of the company port. These stones will stand on the breakwater and break the waves when the ships enters the port of Klaipėda.
