Project : Infomobile

Responding to the request of the Linpra association, which unites over 120 members – manufacturing companies operating in the fields of metal, plastic, electronics and electrical engineering, lasers, automotive industry, as well as technological service providers, educational and scientific institutions – the Iremas company supported mobile STEAM laboratory-infomobile visit in Jonava.

“We wanted to contribute to the fact that the children of Jonava discover the world of engineering technology, become interested in it and perhaps become engineers, designers, machine operators, welders, innovators or other representatives of engineering professions when they grow up. These specialists are already lacking in the labor market, and in the future they will undoubtedly be even more lacking,” said Aida Jankauskienė, HR Director of Iremas.

This time, the infomobile visited the 5th-8th grade students of the Jonava Raimundas Samulevičius pro-gymnasium

Infomobile is like a scaled-down factory where children could see and understand how work is done in a factory, get acquainted with industrial technologies and production equipment: a welding simulator, lathes, milling machines, robotic hands that are programmed to perform certain actions, etc.

“This is the first support of the Iremas company for this project, but we hope it will not be the last,” said A. Jankauskienė.
