Knowledge development : stainless steel welding

Lithuanian Welding Association (LWA) together with Vilnius Gediminas Technical University VILNIUS TECH invited to a seminar for welding specialists, educators and all those who are interested in stainless steel welding.

Our team Chief Metalworking Technologist Robertas Latkauskas, Engineer Vaclovas Keseriauskis, and Welding CoordinatorJevgenij Vavulo  also participated in the seminar and improved their knowledge and skills.

Associate Professor Dr Irmantas Gedzevičius presented and discussed in detail the peculiarities and requirements of stainless steel welding technology, shared his experience and solutions to common problems.

For us, as metalworking professionals, such seminars and training help us to update our knowledge, improve our skills and, of course, to communicate with professionals in the field.

After the seminar, the participants were invited to a good practice tour of the Laboratory Building of the Faculties of Mechanical, Electronic and Transport Engineering (METIF), which opened in 2023, and which pleasantly surprised all participants with its innovative and modern solutions.
