IREMAS Midsummer Traditions

While some are weaving wreaths for Midsummer, we are making altars. For more than a year now, IREMAS has been making sure that the Midsummer fire burns safely in the city of Jonava – in special altars. This year, we gave Jonava’s cultural center 14 altars specially created for the city, which delighted the city’s residents and guests at the Midsummer celebration. This is a gift for the city, which will be useful not only during Midsummer, but also for other city holidays. These altars have served well in the rites of the shortest summer night and are patiently waiting for other events.
