Design of 11 wind turbines

One more impressive wind farm! 👏 

This Green Genius wind farm project in Jurbarkas district was another good experience for IREMAS affiliate Projektų centras. It is a job that requires a lot of knowledge and responsibility. “The Project Centre contributed to obtaining building permits, technical and detailed design and project supervision. The project manager says that it takes a long time to agree and obtain permits from all the relevant authorities and a lot of work to prepare the necessary documents.

The team agrees that the biggest challenge was the design of the foundation. Many are surprised to learn that 880 cubic meters of concrete were used for the foundations of the turbines, i.e. about as much as a small residential complex would require, and each turbine has a foundation as large as 25.5 meters in diameter. It had to be calculated and adjusted to support the 240 m extra heavy power plant.
