UREA-FORMALDEHYDE RESIN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

From the beginning of January, two new reactors with a volume of 50 cubic meters producing urea-formaldehyde resins started operating at AB Achema. This type of resin is used in the production of furniture panels.

We performed the following works at the mentioned object:

We manufactured and installed metal structures weighing 157 tons.
We installed technological equipment – two reactors, one of which weighs 36 tons, and 70 units of various technological equipment (pumps, as well as conveyors, pressure vessels, heat exchangers with weights ranging from 5.5 kg to 9 tons). The work was carried out in an existing workshop without stopping production.
We installed technological, black and stainless steel pipelines.
We led subcontractors in the dismantling and installation of new reinforced concrete structures.
The design work was performed by the company’s branch „Projektų centras“.
